Great is Thy Faithfulness

The title came as I was thinking of what to blog in this post.

Received a bad news on Uncle Peter. His cancerous cells have spread to his brain, and doc has said no more chemo treatment. He can only go for brain therapy, however, the chances are minimal. Doc said he has a month to go.

And today, I’m going to visit him for the 1st time. I haven’t been close to my dad’s side of relatives.. but both of their situations moved me. I dunno what to say at all. No scripts and ideas, except to offer prayers to both of them. That i think is the most powerful tool that I can ever bring.

I guess God must have a plan for all of us. To be able to share this moment with them, in their times of desperation. Whatever the situation may be, things we may never comprehend, God’s character remains the same – unchanging, and forever will be.

“I remember my affliction and my wandering, the bitterness and the gall.  I well remember them, and my soul is downcast within me.  Yet this I call to mind and therefore I have hope:  Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for His compassions never fail.  They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for Him‘” (Lamentations 3:19-24).
